Florida allows students who are currently enrolled at one of Florida’s public colleges or universities to take a course at another public college or university in Florida. The policy is known as Transient Student Admissions. The Florida Virtual Campus is designated by the State of Florida as the sole provider of the automated application process for Transient Student Admissions.

One person at each institution is designated as an administrator. The administrator is responsible for designing the rules and workflow used to process applications at the institution.
