Contract Licensing Development Process:

IDENTIFICATION OF STATEWIDE PRODUCTS FOR LICENSING

1. The procurement process is initiated by one of three methods:

(a) DLSS Primary Member Council Representative: When a particular member institution representative identifies a statewide licensing or procurement need and initiates the member council discussion to determine member interest level statewide.

(b) Annual DLSS Contract Interest Survey: This can also be done through the annual contract interest survey which identifies the key services and products needed by our member institutions.

(c) FLVC Staff: When FLVC staff identifies a potential statewide licensing or procurement need and initiates the member council discussion to determine member interest level statewide.

2.Approval by Licensing Workgroup.

3.3. DLSS MC Vote: Once cleared by the Licensing Workgroup, the service procurement is put before the DLSS Member Council for a vote. With at least X institutions voting in favor.

3.4. 4. the product is moved to the UWF Procurement Office for contract scheduling and final procurement.
